Big Data Workshop and Seminars for Universitas Bina Darma

IVI hosted an academic visit from Universitas Bina Darma, Palembang, Indonesia on 27th – 28th February 2020.

UBD’s MSc students from their Information Technology programme and Communication programme visited IVI alongside their lecturers’ companions.

The two-day visit was organised by the Postgraduate Committee of IVI. Among activities conducted were Big Data workshop delivered by Mr. Nurhadi on the first day, On the second day, several seminars were delivered by IVI students: Mr. Gijs van Dam, Mr. Mostafa Ghane and Ms. Nita Rosa Damayanti.

Other activities include Letter of Intent (LoI) signing between IVI and UBD. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Md Zain signed the LoI on behalf of IVI. Mentoring session of IVI research fellows with the students from UBD were also held on the first day.
