The Visual Informatics Working Group is one of the active working groups in MYREN. In a recent MYREN FUTURESCAPE 2016, the Visual Informatics Working Group gathers their best speakers and researchers together to exhibit their technologies and innovations. The activities during MYREN FUTURESCAPE 2016 include booth exhibitions and also the showcases by the Visual Informatics Working Group.
The showcases delivered by the Visual Informatics Working Group include:
- Townhall Session: Interdisciplinary Research in Visual Informatics & Medicine : Bridging the Gap given by Prof Dr Hamzaini Abdul Hamid UKM.
- Lightning Session: UKM Emerging Visual Technologies given by Dr Aliimran Nordin,
- Centre Stage Showcase: Live streaming of a walkthrough lab at Institute of Visual Informatics on Immersive Virtual Technology
